Associate Professor Jason Bendall is an Australian trained paramedic and Specialist Anaesthetist having worked within the paramedicine sector since 1995 and in clinical medicine since 2004.
Jason currently works as a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist at John Hunter Hospital and also a Prehospital & Retrieval Medicine Specialist for the Hunter Retrieval Service (Northern Zone). Jason is also a casual Intensive Care Paramedic. Jason is an adjunct associate professor of paramedicine at the University of the Sunshine Coast and at Charles Sturt University.
Through his position as Deputy Director of Training for St John Ambulance Australia Jason is a member of the Australian Resuscitation Council (www.resus.org.au) and is the Deputy Convenor (First Aid) for ANZCOR (https://resus.org.au/ilcor-redirect/). Jason is also a member of the First Aid task force for ILCOR (www.ilcor.org/home/).
